Zooey Deschanel Films 'The New Girl' Jan 17th 2013, 08:02 Birthday girl Zooey Deschanel spends her special day hard at work with furry co-stars on the set of 'New Girl.' The actress, who turned 33 today, started off by filming a scene where her and co-star Jake Johnson chased a man out of an apartment building. Later on, she shot a scene where she tried to scare a bunch of cats off of the roof of a car. In between takes, Zooey stopped to play with the kitties.
